Yes, Wix has a free built-in CRM. Here is what it covers, which plans and add-ons you need, and when a separate CRM or a different builder makes more sense.
Yes, Wix has a CRM. Every Wix site comes with a contact list, an inbox, forms, sales pipelines, tasks, invoices, price quotes and automations, all in the same dashboard as your website. For plenty of small businesses that is enough. This guide explains what each part does and which Wix plans and add-ons you need (prices at the time of writing, October 2026). It also covers where the Wix CRM tends to run short as enquiries grow, and how to choose between staying on Wix, adding a separate CRM, or moving to a builder with a fuller CRM built in.

Wix does not sell its CRM as a separate product. It is a set of customer tools that comes with every Wix dashboard, and Wix markets it as free. When someone fills in a form, books, buys or chats on your site, they become a contact automatically. You follow them up from the same place you edit the site.
It is a light CRM, though. It is good at capturing enquiries, replying, tracking work on a board and sending invoices. It is thinner on ranking leads, sales reporting and email volume. Some of the parts you will want, such as taking payments or sending more than a couple of hundred marketing emails a month, need a paid plan or a separate subscription.

Based on Wix's own feature pages and help centre at the time of writing, you get:
All of this works on the same contact record as your site, store and bookings. For a one-person business or a small team handling a few dozen enquiries a week, it may be all the CRM you need.
You will still see the name Ascend on some Wix pages and in older reviews. Ascend used to be a separate paid suite of marketing and customer tools that you bought on top of a website plan, with its own tiers and its own limits on things like automations.
On 1 February 2023 Wix stopped selling Ascend as a standalone package. Live chat, social posts and promotional videos moved into the Premium website plans, forms became tied to your Premium plan, and email marketing got its own set of plans. If an article quotes Ascend tier prices or automation limits, treat that as history. You cannot buy those packages any more. What you get now depends on your website plan, plus any email marketing plan you add.

The contact list and basic tools come with every site, but the useful parts of a CRM depend on your plan. These are Wix's US prices on annual billing at the time of writing (October 2026). Prices vary by country and are higher on monthly billing.
| Wix plan | Per month (annual) | What it means for the CRM |
|---|---|---|
| Light | $17 | Cannot take payments, so customers cannot pay your invoices online through the site. 2 collaborators, 4 forms. |
| Core | $29 | Takes payments, so invoices, quotes and recurring billing become practical. 5 collaborators, 10 forms. |
| Business | $39 | 10 collaborators, 25 forms, plus extra store features. |
| Business Elite | $159 | 100 collaborators, 75 forms, VIP support. |
Then there is email. Wix Email Marketing is billed separately from your website plan. The free tier allows 200 emails a month with Wix branding. Independent reviewers list the paid tiers at about $10, $24 and $49 a month on yearly billing, for 500, 5,000 and up to 1,000,000 sends a month. On monthly billing they list roughly $12, $29 and $59. Wix shows the exact price for your country inside the dashboard, so check there before you budget.
Take a service business that sends invoices and a monthly newsletter to a few hundred people. A realistic Wix setup is Core plus the entry email plan, which comes to about $39 a month at the time of writing. Payment processing fees and any paid apps come on top.
None of these is a deal-breaker on its own. They tend to show up once enquiries come in steadily, or once more than one person is selling.
To be fair to Wix, for many small businesses its strengths outweigh these gaps.
If you mostly need to capture enquiries, reply quickly, track jobs on a board and send invoices, stay on Wix and use what you already pay for.
When the Wix CRM starts to pinch, there are three sensible routes.
1. Stay on Wix and set its CRM up properly. Before you pay for anything new, build a pipeline with your real sales stages and add the overdue invoice reminder. Create segments for your best lead sources and give every enquiry a task with a date. A lot of 'the CRM is not enough' problems turn out to be 'the CRM is not set up' problems.
2. Keep Wix and add a dedicated CRM. HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and similar tools are built for selling, with deeper reporting and automation, and several offer lead scoring on paid tiers. The cost is a second bill (often per user), a connection to maintain and two places to check. Connections usually run through an App Market app or a connector such as Zapier, so test that form submissions, bookings and store orders really arrive before you commit.
3. Move to a builder with a fuller CRM built in. This is the route WebNewBiz is designed for. On the Growth plan ($79 a month at the time of writing, $1 for the first month), the AI CRM reads and scores incoming leads. It also tracks deals, tasks and bookings, sends invoices that chase themselves and connects to your own email. Website enquiries land in it automatically and store buyers become contacts. Growth includes 3,000 contacts and 3 team members. An AI funnel builder can also draft a landing page, opt-in and thank-you page from a description of your offer.
The honest limits: email campaigns start on Pro at $149, not on Growth. WebNewBiz is a young platform with a much smaller app ecosystem and community than Wix, and there is no free plan. If you move off Wix, your content and domain come with you, but the layout is rebuilt rather than copied, and the AI draft still needs your own edits, photos and facts. Our guide to moving a website off Wix explains what that involves, and WebNewBiz vs Wix compares the two platforms more broadly.
| Stay on Wix | Wix plus a separate CRM | WebNewBiz Growth | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost (Oct 2026) | Core $29, plus an email plan from about $10 | Your Wix plan plus the CRM's own fee | $79 ($1 for the first month) |
| Enquiries become contacts | Automatic | Through a connector or app | Automatic |
| Deal pipeline | Yes (Pipelines) | Yes, usually deeper | Yes (deals) |
| Lead scoring | Not built in | Often on paid tiers | AI scores leads |
| Overdue invoice reminders | Yes, through an automation you set up | Depends on the CRM or your accounting tool | Invoices chase themselves |
| Email marketing | Separate email plan | Often part of the CRM, sometimes a paid add-on | Pro ($149) and above |
| App ecosystem | 800+ apps | Wix apps plus the CRM's integrations | Much smaller |
| Effort to switch | None | Set up and test the connection | Rebuild the layout, move content and domain |
Does Wix have a free CRM?
Yes. Wix markets its CRM tools as free, and contacts, the inbox, forms, workflows, pipelines and tasks come with every Wix dashboard. To take payments on invoices you need Core ($29 a month on annual billing at the time of writing) or higher. Sending more than 200 marketing emails a month needs a separate Wix Email Marketing plan.
Is Ascend by Wix still available?
Not as a separate package. Wix stopped selling Ascend on its own on 1 February 2023. Tools such as live chat and forms moved into the Premium website plans, and email marketing became its own set of plans.
Does Wix have lead scoring?
We could not find built-in lead scoring in Wix at the time of writing. You can sort leads with labels and self-updating segments, or connect a dedicated CRM that scores leads for you.
Can Wix chase unpaid invoices automatically?
Partly. You can set up an automation that emails a reminder when an invoice is overdue, or a set number of days before it is due. You build each reminder yourself, and recurring invoices only work for customers who pay automatically through a supported payment provider.
Can I connect HubSpot or another CRM to Wix?
Usually yes, through an App Market app or a connector such as Zapier. Before you rely on it, test that form submissions, bookings and orders arrive correctly, and budget for the CRM's own subscription.
Should I leave Wix just to get a better CRM?
Only if the gaps are costing you leads or hours every week. If your site works and your needs are simple, stay and set up the Wix tools properly. If you want lead scoring, deals and invoices that chase themselves in one place with your site, a builder with a CRM built in, such as WebNewBiz Growth at $79 a month, is worth comparing.
If staying on Wix suits you, that is a perfectly good outcome. If you would rather see what a site with the CRM already attached looks like, try the free AI Website Preview: describe your business in one sentence and it designs a homepage for you. When you are ready, our AI website builder drafts the full site, and the Growth plan adds the CRM. Every plan costs $1 for the first month and there is no minimum contract, so you can start for $1 and make up your mind once you have used it.
