Most comparisons stop at the CRM. This one prices the whole setup, a proper website plus a CRM for three users, on HubSpot, on Zoho and on a simpler all-in-one option.
Search for zoho vs hubspot and most results compare CRM features and stop there. A small business needs more than that: a website people can find, an enquiry form that drops leads into the CRM, and one bill you can live with. This guide compares both as a full setup: HubSpot's Content Hub with its free CRM, against Zoho Sites with Zoho CRM or Bigin. It covers ease of use, what the free tiers really include, support, and what you pay each month once you add a proper website and three users. Prices are US list prices at the time of writing (October 2026).

Both are serious, well-established platforms, and both can run a small business website and CRM. They suit different people.
HubSpot is one platform split into hubs. The website lives in Content Hub (formerly CMS Hub), the CRM sits underneath everything, and both share one contact database and one login. You can start on the free tools and move up to Starter, Professional or Enterprise. The Starter Customer Platform bundles the Starter version of each hub, including Content Hub Starter, and is priced per seat.
Zoho is a family of separate apps under one Zoho account. For this setup you would combine:
Zoho Sites forms can send leads straight into Zoho CRM, and Bigin has its own web forms you embed on the site. Selling products is handled by a separate app, Zoho Commerce, with its own pricing. If you are weighing other builders too, our guides to HubSpot CMS alternatives and Zoho Sites alternatives cover the wider field.
Free tiers are where this comparison gets interesting, because the two companies are generous in different places.
| What you need | HubSpot free tools | Zoho free options |
|---|---|---|
| Website | Up to 30 website pages, 30 landing pages and one blog, with hosting and SSL. HubSpot branding appears on the site. | No free Zoho Sites plan. A 15-day trial with no card, then Lite from $1 a month for a single page. |
| CRM users | Up to 2 users | Zoho CRM Free: up to 3 users. Bigin Free: 1 user. |
| CRM limits | 1,000 contacts, no time limit | Zoho CRM Free: basic modules, limited automation. Bigin Free: 1 pipeline, 500 records, 3 automations. |
| Email marketing | 2,000 sends a month, with HubSpot branding | Mass email starts on Bigin Express ($7 per user) |
| Support | Knowledge base and community only | Zoho says Classic support comes with paid editions |
The honest reading: HubSpot gives you more for nothing, a real multi-page website and a working CRM, as long as you can live with HubSpot branding and two users. Removing the branding needs Content Hub Starter. Zoho's free CRM covers three people, which HubSpot's does not, but you will pay something for the website.

On ease of use, reviewers mostly agree. HubSpot is the one people pick up fastest: a clean interface, sensible defaults, and the website editor, contacts and emails all in one place. Zoho is usually described as more flexible but harder to find your way around, and it rewards people who enjoy configuring fields, layouts and rules.
A few specifics worth knowing:
Support is a real difference, and on both platforms it depends on what you pay.
One detail catches people out: on HubSpot accounts created since March 2024, a user needs an assigned paid seat to contact support at all. If only one person on your team has a seat, that person is your route to help.
Here is the setup most small businesses actually need: a site of 5 to 25 pages on your own domain without the platform's branding, and CRM access for three people. Figures are US list prices per month on annual billing at the time of writing (October 2026), before tax, domain and payment fees. Monthly billing costs more on both.
| Setup | What you get | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot free tools | Site with HubSpot branding, CRM for 2 users (a third is not possible), 1,000 contacts | $0 |
| HubSpot Starter Customer Platform, 3 seats | Branding removed, Starter sales, marketing, service and content tools, email and chat support | $45 at $15 per seat ($60 billed monthly). HubSpot was also showing an introductory offer from $7 per seat. |
| Zoho Sites Plus + Zoho CRM Free | 25-page site, basic CRM for 3 users | $15 |
| Zoho Sites Plus + Bigin Express, 3 users | 25 pages, team pipelines, 30 automations, email integration | $36 |
| Zoho Sites Plus + Zoho CRM Standard, 3 users | 25 pages, a fuller CRM | $57 |
| WebNewBiz Growth | AI-drafted site, online store, AI CRM with 3,000 contacts and 3 team members, free domain for a year | $79 billed monthly (yearly is cheaper, first month $1) |
Three things stand out. Zoho is cheaper at every level here, and Zoho CRM's free edition makes a three-person setup almost free. HubSpot's free tools are the cheapest way to get a working site and CRM if two users and a branded site are acceptable. And the HubSpot jump to plan for is Professional: Content Hub Professional, which adds AI page generation among other things, starts at about $450 a month on annual billing with three seats, according to HubSpot's own pricing guide.
If you read the table and thought you would rather not join several products together, an all-in-one platform is worth a look. WebNewBiz is ours, so weigh this section accordingly.
You describe your business in plain language and the AI drafts a complete site (pages, layout, copy) that you edit in the browser or change by chatting with the AI Copilot. From the Growth plan at $79 a month, the same account includes an AI CRM that reads and scores leads, handles deals, tasks and bookings, and sends invoices that chase themselves. Website enquiries land in the CRM automatically, and store buyers become contacts, because the online store (cart, secure checkout, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay) is part of the same platform. Growth covers 3,000 contacts and 3 team members. Pro at $149 adds email campaigns, social media tools, 10,000 contacts and 5 team members.
The honest trade-offs:
Where it makes sense: you want to sell online and follow up leads without stitching apps together, and you would rather pay one predictable bill than manage seats across products. We compare more combined tools in our guide to website builders with a built-in CRM, and every plan is listed on the pricing page.
Is Zoho or HubSpot cheaper for a small business?
Zoho, in nearly every like-for-like setup. A 25-page Zoho Sites plan with Bigin for three users costs about $36 a month on annual billing, against about $45 for three HubSpot Starter seats at list price. HubSpot's free tools are cheaper still if two users and HubSpot branding on your site are acceptable.
Is HubSpot's free website builder really free?
Yes, with limits. The free tools include up to 30 website pages, 30 landing pages, one blog and hosting with SSL, but HubSpot branding appears on the site. Removing it needs Content Hub Starter, from about $15 per seat a month on annual billing.
Does Zoho have a free website plan?
Not since Zoho relaunched Zoho Sites in September 2026. There is a 15-day trial with no card needed, then plans start at $1 a month for a one-page Lite site and $8 a month for the 5-page Basic plan, priced per site and billed annually.
Which is easier to use, HubSpot or Zoho?
HubSpot, according to most reviewers. Everything sits in one interface and the defaults are sensible. Zoho is more flexible but takes longer to set up and to find your way around. Bigin is Zoho's simpler CRM if Zoho CRM feels too heavy.
Should I pair Zoho Sites with Zoho CRM or Bigin?
Start with Bigin if you mainly need a sales pipeline, reminders and email for a small team: Express costs $7 per user a month on annual billing. Choose Zoho CRM if you need deeper customisation, more modules, or its free edition for up to three users.
Is there a website builder that includes the CRM in the same plan?
Yes. WebNewBiz includes a website, an online store and an AI CRM from its Growth plan at $79 a month, with $1 for the first month. It costs more than a Zoho combination and has a much smaller ecosystem, but there is nothing to connect.
If HubSpot or Zoho fits how you work, use it: both are solid choices.
