Six options compared on site quality, how they work with (or replace) Zoho CRM, the online store and the real monthly cost, plus when staying on Zoho is smarter.
Most people choose Zoho Sites for one reason: it sits next to Zoho CRM, so a form on the website sends leads straight into the CRM. That convenience is real, but it isn't always enough. Your site might look dated, you might have hit a page limit, or you might want to sell online without adding another Zoho subscription. If so, it's worth looking around. This guide compares six alternatives on the four things that matter to a Zoho user: how good the site can look, how the CRM connects, the store and the total monthly cost. It also says when staying put is the smarter move.

Zoho relaunched Sites in September 2026 with an AI builder. You describe the business, it drafts the pages, layout and copy, and you keep editing in the builder or by chatting with Zia, Zoho's assistant. If you last looked a year ago, give the new version a fair try first.
Zoho announced the new plans at $1 (Lite), $8 (Basic), $15 (Plus) and $40 (Advanced) a month. Yearly billing is up to 50% cheaper, and there is a 15-day free trial. The limits are usually what push people to look elsewhere:
Moving a website takes a weekend at best and a month at worst. Stay put if most of these are true:
The native link is what you would give up, and it is good. You create a web form in Zoho CRM (Web-to-Lead, Web-to-Contact or Web-to-Case) and add it to a page in Sites. Each submission then arrives in the CRM as a lead or contact, with no connector and no extra bill. That is the bar every alternative has to clear. If you are thinking of leaving Zoho altogether, our guide to Zoho CRM alternatives for small business covers the CRM side.

Prices are per month at the time of writing (October 2026), on annual billing where the vendor offers it.
| Option | Site quality | How it works with Zoho CRM | Store | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zoho Sites | Better since the 2026 relaunch; page caps by plan | Native CRM web forms | Through Zoho Commerce, a separate product | $1 (Lite), $8 (Basic) |
| Wix | Strong, very flexible | Embedded form, Zoho Flow, Zapier or an app | Yes, from Core | $17; $29 to take payments |
| Squarespace | Most polished templates | Zapier | Yes; 2% fee on Basic | $19 |
| WordPress | Unlimited, with effort | Official Zoho plugin | Yes, with WooCommerce | Hosting and plugins, varies |
| HubSpot CMS | Good for marketing pages | Replaces Zoho CRM | Payments, not a full shop | Free with branding; about $20 per seat |
| GoHighLevel | Functional, funnel-first | Replaces Zoho CRM | Payments and invoicing | $97 |
| WebNewBiz | AI-drafted, edited by chat | Replaces Zoho CRM (from Growth) | Yes, from Starter | $9; $29 with store; $79 with CRM |
Wix is where most people go when the complaint is how the site looks. The template library is huge, the editor gives you a lot of freedom and the app market covers most small business needs. On annual billing, Light is $17 a month but cannot take payments, Core is $29 and Business is $39.
Connecting Wix to Zoho takes more work. Your options are:
Wix also has its own contacts, inbox, invoices and automations, so some owners drop Zoho CRM after the move. That covers simple follow-up. If your team lives in Zoho's deal stages and reports, test Wix's tools against your real process before you cancel anything.
Choose Wix if design is the main problem and you don't mind maintaining a connector. Skip it if your goal is fewer bills and fewer logins.
For most people, Squarespace has the most polished templates, and it is hard to make one look bad. On annual billing, Basic is $19 a month with a 2% fee on store sales, Core is $29, Plus is $49 and Advanced is $99.
The usual way to connect Zoho is Zapier, which has ready-made templates that turn a Squarespace form submission into a Zoho CRM lead. Zapier's free plan covers 100 tasks a month, which is enough for a small trickle of enquiries. Beyond that, Professional costs about $19.99 a month billed annually. Check the connection regularly: a disconnected account or an edited form can stop leads arriving with no sign of a problem on the website.
Squarespace has contacts, invoicing and proposals for service businesses, but reviewers still describe it as lacking a full sales pipeline. If you rely on Zoho's deal tracking, you will keep Zoho CRM and the connector.
Choose Squarespace if looks matter most and you get a modest number of leads. Skip it if leads must reach the CRM instantly without a third service in the middle.
Outside Zoho itself, WordPress has the most direct link to Zoho CRM. Zoho publishes an official plugin, Zoho CRM Lead Magnet, that sends submissions from Zoho CRM forms or Contact Form 7 straight into Zoho CRM, with field mapping and submission logs. At the time of writing it has 3,000+ active installations and averages 3.1 out of 5 from 25 reviews. Some users report set-up problems, so test it on a staging copy first.
For selling, WooCommerce is free, and third-party plugins sync customers and orders into Zoho CRM. Free versions tend to sync one way only; field mapping and two-way sync are usually in the paid versions.
The catch is everything else. You pay for hosting, often a premium theme and some paid plugins, and someone has to keep WordPress, the theme and every plugin updated and backed up. Costs vary widely, and the biggest one is usually your time.
Choose WordPress if you want to keep Zoho CRM, need many pages or a big blog, and have a developer or the patience to learn. Skip it if you chose Zoho Sites precisely to avoid maintaining a website.
HubSpot's website tools sit on top of its own CRM, so choosing HubSpot means replacing Zoho CRM, not giving it a new front end. In return, forms, page views and emails land on one contact record with no connector.
The free tools let you publish up to 30 website pages with HubSpot branding. Content Hub Starter removes the branding and costs about $20 per seat per month, so around $60 for three people. Professional jumps to about $500 a month with three seats, which is a big step for a small business.
Selling is the weak spot. HubSpot's own payments only work for businesses in the US, UK and Canada. Elsewhere you connect Stripe, and HubSpot lists several countries, including Brazil and India, where that option isn't available. HubSpot is not a shop builder, so a business with many products would need a shop platform such as Shopify alongside it.
Choose HubSpot if content marketing is how you win customers and you are ready to leave Zoho CRM. Our guide to HubSpot CMS alternatives covers the trade-offs. Skip it if you mainly need a store.
GoHighLevel combines a CRM and sales pipelines with a website and funnel builder, booking calendars, email and SMS marketing, and workflow automation. It replaces both Zoho Sites and Zoho CRM. Starter is $97 a month with unlimited users and contacts, though sending email and SMS costs extra based on usage.
GoHighLevel is built for agencies and funnel-heavy marketers, and it shows. There is a lot to configure, and the website side is functional and built around funnels rather than design. Our GoHighLevel website builder review covers what that is like day to day.
Choose GoHighLevel if automated follow-up and funnels are the heart of your business and you have time to set it up. Skip it if you want something you can run in an hour a week.
WebNewBiz is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. Like HubSpot and GoHighLevel, it replaces Zoho CRM rather than connecting to it, but it is aimed at small business owners rather than marketers.
You describe your business in plain language, the AI drafts a complete website and you change it by chatting with the AI Copilot. Starter ($29) adds an online store with card, Apple Pay and Google Pay checkout. From Growth ($79), the AI CRM is built in. It reads and scores leads, tracks deals, tasks and bookings, and sends invoices that chase themselves. Website enquiries land in the CRM automatically and store buyers become contacts, so there is no connector to look after. Growth includes 3,000 contacts and 3 team members. Pro ($149) raises that to 10,000 contacts and 5 team members and adds email campaigns. Hosting and SSL are included, and the first month is $1.
The honest limits:
Choose WebNewBiz if you want your site, store and CRM under one login and your sales process is simple. Skip it if you are keeping Zoho CRM.
Here is a like-for-like example: three people need CRM access, the site is small, and billing is annual where offered. Zoho CRM Standard is $14 per user per month on annual billing, so $42 for three. The connector figures assume Zapier's free or Professional plan.
| Setup | Website | CRM (3 users) | Connector | Rough total per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zoho Sites Plus + Zoho CRM Standard | $15 | $42 | None | About $57 |
| Wix Core + Zoho CRM Standard | $29 | $42 | $0-20 | $71-91 |
| Squarespace Core + Zoho CRM Standard | $29 | $42 | $0-20 | $71-91 |
| WordPress + Zoho CRM Standard | Hosting, varies | $42 | Free plugin | $42 plus hosting and upkeep |
| HubSpot Content Hub Starter | Included | Included (3 seats) | None | About $60 |
| GoHighLevel Starter | Included | Included | None | $97 plus usage charges |
| WebNewBiz Growth | Included | Included (3 team members) | None | $79 |
Three things move these numbers. Zoho CRM has a free edition for up to 3 users, which removes the $42 from every row that keeps Zoho CRM, if its limits suit you. Yearly billing on Zoho Sites can cut that line by up to half. And selling online means adding Zoho Commerce on the Zoho route, while Wix Core, Squarespace Core and WebNewBiz Growth already include a store.
No builder imports another builder's design cleanly. Whichever option you choose, including WebNewBiz, plan to move your text, images and domain and rebuild the layout.
What is the best Zoho Sites alternative if I want to keep Zoho CRM?
WordPress, because Zoho publishes its own plugin that sends form submissions straight into Zoho CRM. Wix works through an embedded Zoho web form, Zoho Flow or Zapier, and Squarespace through Zapier. Each adds a moving part, so test it after every change.
Does Zoho Sites have a free plan?
No. The relaunched Zoho Sites has a 15-day free trial, then paid plans that Zoho announced from $1 a month for a one-page Lite site to $40 for Advanced, with yearly billing cheaper.
Can I sell products on Zoho Sites?
Zoho presents Zoho Commerce, a separate product with its own subscription, as its tool for selling online. If you need a store, compare Sites plus Commerce with a builder that includes one, such as Wix Core, Squarespace or WebNewBiz Starter.
Which option is cheapest overall?
If you keep Zoho CRM, staying on Zoho Sites is usually cheapest because there is no connector to pay for. If you replace both, HubSpot Content Hub Starter for three seats (about $60), WebNewBiz Growth ($79, store included) and GoHighLevel Starter ($97 plus usage charges) are the main all-in-one options.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I leave Zoho Sites?
Not if you keep the same domain, keep or redirect your old URLs and move your content across. Expect some movement for a few weeks while Google recrawls the new site.
If you are staying with Zoho, give the new Sites builder a proper try during its trial. If you would rather have your site, store and CRM under one login, see how the WebNewBiz AI website builder works.
