Staging is a copy of your live site that only you can see. You make changes on the copy, look at them, and when you are happy you push the copy to live. Before anything is overwritten, a safety snapshot of your live site is taken automatically, so a bad change is not the end of the world.
The controls are plain. Create a staging environment, open it in a new tab, and work on it. When you are ready, push to live. If you want to start over, sync staging with the current live content, which overwrites the copy. You can delete the staging copy when you are done. Staging is for WordPress sites built on WebNewBiz.
When you change a page address or retire an old page, a redirect sends anyone who had the old link to the right place. Add a redirect by typing the old source path and the new target address, pick 301 permanent or 302 temporary, and it goes live. You can disable, enable or delete any redirect later.
The logs screen shows the live access and error logs from your web server, with the time, the request and the status code for each entry. Refresh it to pull the latest. It is the first place to look when a page is throwing errors. The resource usage screen shows your visitors over a chosen period, such as the past 7 days, and your storage split into database and files, so you can see what you are using against your plan.
