Wix Studio builds the better-looking client site, and GoHighLevel runs the follow-up. Here is how they compare on design, CRM, white-label, billing and cost.
If you build websites for clients, you have probably priced up both. Wix Studio is a design-first site builder with agency tools added on: a free shared workspace, Client Kits and a Partner Program. GoHighLevel is a CRM and automation suite for agencies that also includes a simpler site and funnel builder. They solve different halves of the job, which is why so many agencies end up paying for both. This guide compares site quality, CRM, white-label depth, client billing and the monthly cost of a ten-client book, using US prices checked in October 2026.

Choose Wix Studio if clients hire you for design, the website is the product, and follow-up is something they handle themselves. Choose GoHighLevel if clients hire you for leads and booked appointments, and the site is mainly a place to catch enquiries before texts, emails and pipelines take over.
If you sell both, you will probably end up running both, or looking for one platform that does a reasonable job of each under your own brand. Neither tool is a bad choice. Most of the frustration with either comes from buying one and expecting it to behave like the other.
Wix Studio is Wix's platform for agencies and freelancers. The workspace is free: you can build as many sites as you like, give your team custom roles and permissions across sites, and manage every project from one place. You only pay when a site needs a custom domain, no Wix ads or the ability to take payments, and each live site needs its own Studio site plan. The client gets the normal Wix business dashboard for bookings, store orders, contacts and marketing.
GoHighLevel (also called HighLevel or GHL) is a sales and marketing platform sold to agencies. You pay one agency subscription and create a sub-account for each client. Each sub-account has contacts, pipelines, calendars, two-way SMS, email, workflows, review requests and a website and funnel builder. It was built to be resold, so its white-label and billing tools go much further than Wix's.
This is Wix Studio's clearest win. It gives designers fine control over layout, spacing, breakpoints and animation, so sites can look properly bespoke rather than templated. It has a real CMS for team pages, case studies, listings and blogs, and coding tools for developers when a client needs something unusual. For brand-led businesses such as architects, restaurants, studios and premium retailers, the difference shows.
GoHighLevel's builder was designed around funnels and landing pages, and that shows too. It is quick for a service business site with a hero section, a form, a booking calendar and some reviews, and it has practical extras such as split testing on funnel pages and a custom code element. Independent reviews consistently describe its website design options as fairly basic, and a polished multi-page brand site takes noticeably more effort than in Wix Studio. Our GoHighLevel website builder review goes through it in detail.
A simple test: if your client would notice the difference between a good site and a great one, build it in Wix Studio. If they mainly care that the form works and the phone rings, GoHighLevel's builder is usually enough.

Here the positions flip. The CRM is the heart of GoHighLevel. You get pipelines with deal stages, one inbox for texts, emails and social messages, booking calendars, review requests and a workflow builder that can text a new lead within minutes of a form being filled in, move a deal when an appointment is booked and chase a no-show the next morning. Snapshots let you save a whole account set-up (pipelines, workflows, templates) and load it into each new client, which is how niche agencies onboard clients quickly.
Wix's CRM tools are real but lighter. Each site gets contacts, an inbox, tasks, simple boards for tracking leads (Wix calls them Workflows and, in the newer version, Pipelines), automations triggered by site events, and email marketing with sending limits that rise if the client pays for an Ascend by Wix upgrade. For a café, a photographer or a small shop, that is often enough. For a client whose business depends on fast follow-up, texting and long nurture sequences, reviewers find it falls short, and that gap is the main reason agencies pair Wix Studio with GoHighLevel.
One caveat on GoHighLevel: SMS, calls, email and AI features are charged on usage on top of the subscription. The amounts per client are usually modest, but they are not zero, so build them into your retainers or turn on rebilling.
White-label means your client sees your agency, not the software company behind it. The two platforms take very different approaches.
| White-label feature | Wix Studio | GoHighLevel |
|---|---|---|
| Your logo in front of clients | Yes, on client site dashboards and email invitations | Yes, across the web app and login page |
| Dashboard on your own domain | No, clients sign in to Wix | Yes, a subdomain such as app.youragency.com |
| Branded email | Your logo on Wix's invitation emails | Yes, with a custom sending domain |
| Vendor name visible to clients | Yes, it is clearly Wix | Hidden on the web app once set up |
| Branded mobile app | An app for the client's own customers, on a paid Mobile App plan | An app for your clients, as a paid add-on |
| Resell it as your own software | No | Yes, with SaaS mode on Agency Pro ($497) |
Wix Studio's branding is a courtesy rather than a disguise. Your logo appears, and a Client Kit puts your tutorials, files and contact details inside the client's dashboard for handover, which clients can view but not edit. But clients know they are on Wix, see Wix's plan prices if they pay Wix directly, and Wix's own help centre says partners cannot yet fully customise the client dashboard. That suits agencies that are happy to say they build on Wix.
GoHighLevel is designed to be renamed. With a white-label domain, your logo and your own legal links on the login page, the client signs in to what looks like your software. That matters if you charge a monthly platform fee rather than a website fee.
Wix Studio gives you two routes for site plans. You can buy the plan yourself and recover it in your fee, or send a payment request so the client pays Wix directly and Wix bills them for renewals. Either way, Partner Program members earn a revenue share: Wix advertises 20% or more on Studio Premium sites you purchase and publish, plus a share of your clients' Wix Payments sales. Joining is free from the workspace, and higher partner levels add a listing on the Wix Marketplace, where businesses look for designers.
What Wix Studio does not do is bundle your own services into one branded subscription. Your design fee, care plan and retainer are invoiced separately, through the invoicing tools on your own Wix site or an accounting app, and the client pays Wix's list price for the plan.
GoHighLevel connects to your own Stripe account, and charges to clients go to you, not to HighLevel. On Unlimited you can rebill phone and email usage at cost. On Agency Pro you get SaaS mode, which lets you sell your own software plans with automatic sub-account creation, and you can add a markup to usage. If you want to sell a branded platform at your own price, this is the stronger of the two, but it sits on the most expensive self-serve plan.
These are US list prices at the time of writing (October 2026). Wix Studio site plans are priced per site and billed yearly. Wix shows Studio prices inside the workspace and they vary by region, so treat them as a guide. Basic, at about $19 a month, cannot take payments. Standard, at about $27, is the cheapest Studio plan that can. GoHighLevel costs $97 (Starter, three sub-accounts), $297 (Unlimited) or $497 (Agency Pro) a month, or $970, $2,970 and $4,970 paid yearly, which works out at about two months free.
| Set-up for 10 clients | Approximate monthly cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Wix Studio only (10 sites on Basic or Standard) | $190 to $270 | Strong sites, Wix's lighter CRM tools, logo-level branding |
| GoHighLevel Unlimited only | $297 plus usage | Full CRM and automation, simpler sites, branded dashboard |
| Wix Studio sites plus GoHighLevel Unlimited | $487 to $567 plus usage | The best of each, two systems to run |
| Wix Studio sites plus GoHighLevel Agency Pro | $687 to $767 plus usage | Adds SaaS mode and usage markup |
Three things the table hides. With three clients or fewer, GoHighLevel Starter at $97 covers you, which makes the combination far cheaper at the start. If Wix Studio clients pay Wix directly through payment requests, those site plans drop off your bill and you collect a revenue share instead. And running two platforms costs time: two logins, forms on Wix sites that have to be connected to GoHighLevel through an integration or webhook, and clients asking why their site and their leads live in different places.
We break each one down further in our guides to GoHighLevel pricing for agencies and Wix Studio pricing for agencies.
Running Wix Studio and GoHighLevel side by side is a perfectly sensible set-up for some agencies. It tends to work when:
It tends to hurt when most clients are small local businesses on modest monthly fees. Two platforms can eat most of the margin on a small care plan, and every broken form connection lands on your desk.
WebNewBiz is the platform behind this site, so weigh this section with that in mind. It aims to cover both halves under your brand. You describe a client's business in plain language and the AI drafts a complete site (pages, layout and copy), which you then edit by chatting with the AI Copilot or in the Design Studio visual editor. The same platform includes an online store, an AI CRM that reads and scores leads and handles deals, tasks, bookings and invoices, an AI funnel builder with 26 templates, and workflow automations triggered by form submissions, dates or birthdays. Website enquiries and funnel opt-ins land in the CRM as contacts, and higher plans add email campaigns and social posting as part of the marketing automation tools.
For agencies, the white-label covers your name, logo, colours and favicon on a dashboard at your own domain such as app.youragency.com, with a branded login page, invites, emails and invoice PDFs, and email sent through your own SMTP. You create client accounts on plans with limits, log in as a client to do the work or let them self-serve, and sell your own packages at your own prices through your own Stripe or PayPal account. There is more on the white-label website builder for agencies and white-label CRM for agencies pages.
The honest limits: WebNewBiz is younger and smaller than Wix or GoHighLevel's agency programmes, with a much smaller app ecosystem and community. The AI first draft still needs your client's real photos and facts. Two-way texting from a business number is available on the Ultimate plan, but it is not built for the high-volume SMS sequences many GoHighLevel agencies rely on. Agency pricing is not published, so you have to ask. If pixel-level design is what you sell, Wix Studio gives you more control, and if SMS-heavy nurture is your whole offer, GoHighLevel is still the better fit.
Is GoHighLevel or Wix Studio better for an agency?
It depends on what clients pay you for. Wix Studio is better for design-led agencies whose product is the website. GoHighLevel is better for agencies selling lead follow-up, automation and a branded platform. Many agencies that sell both end up using both.
Can you white-label Wix Studio?
Only partly. Partners can show their logo on client site dashboards and email invitations and add a Client Kit with guides and contact details, but clients still sign in to Wix, and Wix says the client dashboard cannot be fully customised.
Does Wix Studio have a CRM like GoHighLevel?
It has lighter CRM tools: contacts, an inbox, tasks, simple lead boards, automations and email marketing with plan limits. It does not go as deep as GoHighLevel on texting, multi-step nurture sequences or resale features.
How much do Wix Studio and GoHighLevel cost together for ten clients?
At US list prices in October 2026, about $487 to $567 a month: ten Wix Studio site plans at roughly $19 to $27 each, plus GoHighLevel Unlimited at $297, before usage fees. If clients pay Wix directly, your own bill falls to the GoHighLevel subscription.
Is there one platform that covers both sites and CRM under my brand?
GoHighLevel does, with a simpler site builder. WebNewBiz drafts client sites with AI and includes a CRM, funnels and client billing under your brand, but it is younger with a smaller ecosystem, and agency pricing is available on request.
If you want client sites, CRM and billing under your own brand in one place, the best next step is to talk to us about white-label.
