Framer is a joy to design in, but per-site billing, no checkout and no client dashboard slow agencies down. Here is how five alternatives compare.
Framer is one of the most enjoyable places to design a website, and plenty of agencies choose it for the canvas, the animations and how fast a polished site goes live. The friction starts when client work grows: each site is billed separately at $10 or $30 a month, there is no built-in checkout, the CMS has firm item caps, and there is no branded dashboard where clients log in and pay you. This guide compares Webflow, Duda, Wix Studio, Dorik and WebNewBiz on the things agencies actually sell.

For a single site, Framer is fair value. At the time of writing (October 2026), the Basic plan costs $10 a month and Pro $30 a month per site on annual billing. Extra editors cost $20 a month each, and content-only editors $10. Framer describes Pro as the plan for teams at agencies.
Once you look after more than a handful of clients, four limits keep coming up:
None of this makes Framer a bad tool. It is a design and publishing tool, not a platform for running an agency. If you sell retainers, online stores or monthly care plans, those gaps cost you hours every month.
Before comparing platforms, write down what you actually sell. Most agencies leaving Framer want some mix of the following:
Prices are US dollars per month on annual billing at the time of writing. Agency plans change often, so check each vendor before you commit.
| Platform | How you pay | Branded client dashboard | Built-in store | Bill clients at your prices |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Framer | $10 or $30 per site | No | No, needs a plugin | No |
| Webflow | Workspace plan plus a site plan per site ($15 Basic, $25 CMS level) | Limited editor branding at most | Yes, from $29 (2% fee on Standard) | No, Client Payments charges Webflow's rates |
| Duda | Per account: Agency $52, White Label $149, 4 sites included, extra sites from about $14 | Yes, on the White Label plan | Per-site add-on, $7, $20 or $45, no Duda fee | Yes, through Stripe |
| Wix Studio | Free workspace, paid plan per client site | Your logo and no Wix ads, but still a Wix product | Yes, Wix Stores | No, clients pay Wix through a payment request |
| Dorik | Agency $79, unlimited client sites | Yes | No full store, payment buttons only | Yes, through your Stripe, no commission |
| WebNewBiz | Agency pricing on request | Yes: your domain, login, emails and invoices | Yes, cart and checkout | Yes, your packages through your Stripe or PayPal |

If your team likes Framer because it feels like a design tool, Webflow is the most natural move. You get a visual canvas with fine control over layout, styles and interactions, a mature CMS, and a large ecosystem of templates, apps and experienced designers.
It fixes two of Framer's gaps. Ecommerce is built in, with plans from $29 a month (the Standard plan adds a 2% transaction fee, the higher ecommerce plans do not). The CMS on Webflow's higher site plans also goes well beyond Framer's 2,500-item Pro cap.
It does not fix the client layer. You pay for a workspace plan for your team and a site plan for each client site: $15 a month for Basic and $25 for the CMS-level plan. Webflow's Client Payments feature lets a client put their own card on a site that stays in your workspace, but they pay Webflow's standard rates, so there is no room for a margin. Editor branding is limited, and there is no client portal listing your own packages and prices.
Choose Webflow if you build bespoke, design-led sites, charge for the build, and are happy to invoice hosting and care separately. Our Framer vs Webflow comparison for agencies goes deeper on the design side.
Duda has focused on agencies for years, and it shows. Plans are priced per account rather than per site. At the time of writing, the Agency plan is $52 a month and the White Label plan $149 a month on annual billing, each with 4 sites included, and extra sites cost from about $14 a month on yearly billing. Every plan includes unlimited client accounts and client permissions, so you decide what each client can change.
The White Label plan puts your logo, colours and domain on the builder, with a branded client login, a client dashboard and stats emails sent from an address you choose. Client Billing runs through Stripe: you send one-off or recurring payment requests for sites and services, and the whole billing experience carries your brand. Ecommerce is a per-site add-on at $7, $20 or $45 a month on yearly billing depending on product count, with no Duda transaction fee and Stripe, PayPal, Square and Mollie as payment options.
The trade-offs are cost creep and design freedom. Every extra site and every store adds a line to the bill, and Duda's more structured editor gives designers less room than Framer's canvas.
Choose Duda if you manage dozens of client sites and want an established white-label platform with client billing.
Wix Studio is Wix's platform for agencies and freelancers. The workspace is free and each client site carries its own paid plan, from about $19 a month on annual billing. The responsive canvas gives designers more freedom than most agency builders, and behind it sits the whole Wix ecosystem: Wix Stores, bookings, a large app market and Wix's own payments.
For running the agency, you get one workspace for all client sites, a client kit with logins, tutorials and FAQs, proposals with automated invoices for your services, and a partner programme with revenue share on eligible yearly plans. Branding stops short of full white-label: partners can add their logo and remove Wix ads, but clients still use a recognisably Wix product. When a client pays for their site plan through a payment request, they pay Wix directly and handle renewals with Wix.
Choose Wix Studio if your clients want stores or bookings out of the box and nobody minds that the platform is visibly Wix.
Dorik is a smaller, simpler builder with an AI site generator and a clear agency offer. The Agency plan is $79 a month on annual billing ($99 month to month) at the time of writing, and covers unlimited client sites and custom domains, unlimited collaborators and an unlimited CMS. That alone fixes Framer's per-site maths and item caps.
For the money, the agency tools are strong. Clients get a dashboard branded with your logo, colours and name, and custom roles let them edit content without breaking layouts. Client billing runs through your own Stripe account: you set one-off, monthly or yearly prices, and Dorik says it takes no commission.
The gap is commerce. Dorik offers payment buttons and Stripe, PayPal and Gumroad integrations rather than a full store with a product catalogue, cart and order management. Its design tools are also plainer than Framer's.
Choose Dorik if your clients mostly need brochure sites and blogs and you want white-label billing at the lowest fixed cost.
This is our product, so read this section with that in mind. WebNewBiz builds a website, an online store and an AI CRM in one platform, and has a white-label programme for agencies.
The workflow is different from Framer's. Instead of starting on a blank canvas, you describe the client's business in plain language and the AI drafts the whole site: pages, layout and copy. You then change it by chatting with the AI Copilot, or in the Design Studio visual editor. Most of the remaining work is editing, adding the client's real photos and checking facts, because every first draft needs that.
What agencies get:
The honest limits: WebNewBiz is younger and smaller than Duda, Webflow or Wix, with a much smaller app ecosystem and community. If your selling point is bespoke, motion-heavy design, Framer or Webflow will give your designers more freedom than an AI-drafted, chat-edited site. Agency pricing is not published, so you need to talk to us for a quote. And sites are not exported as files to another host: content and domain move, but the layout is rebuilt. The full agency feature list is on our white-label website builder for agencies page.
Plenty of agencies should not switch, or should only move part of their client list.
A mixed setup is common: keep Framer for flagship design projects and move the small business clients who want a store, a CRM or a monthly care plan to a platform built for that.
Price your actual client list rather than comparing headline plans. On Framer the maths is simple multiplication: 25 client sites on Pro is $750 a month and 50 is $1,500, before editors. On Duda's White Label plan, 4 sites are included and each extra site and store add-on adds its own line. Dorik's Agency fee stays flat however many sites you add. WebNewBiz quotes agency pricing directly.
Then look at the other side of the ledger. If a platform lets you sell hosting and care at your own price, say $79 a month per client through your own Stripe account, the margin on 25 clients usually matters more than a small difference in platform fees. Our guide on how to resell websites to clients covers packaging and pricing.

What is the best Framer alternative for agencies?
It depends on what you sell. Webflow suits design-led studios that bill for the build. Duda suits agencies managing dozens of white-label client sites. Wix Studio suits clients who want built-in stores and bookings. Dorik is the lowest-cost white-label option for brochure sites. WebNewBiz suits agencies selling small business sites with a store and CRM under their own brand.
Does Framer have a white-label client dashboard?
No. Framer has no branded client dashboard and no client billing. Agencies usually transfer the project to the client, who then pays Framer directly, and partners can earn commission through Framer's Experts and affiliate programmes.
Can you sell products on a Framer site?
Not natively. Framer does not process payments, so stores rely on plugins such as Framer Commerce, which connects a Shopify store, or Stripe-based checkout tools, each with its own cost.
How much does Framer cost per client site?
At the time of writing (October 2026), $10 a month for Basic or $30 a month for Pro per site on annual billing. Extra editors cost $20 a month each and content-only editors $10.
Which Framer alternatives let agencies charge clients their own prices?
Duda (Client Billing through Stripe), Dorik (Agency plan, through your own Stripe account) and WebNewBiz (your own packages through your own Stripe or PayPal account). Webflow's Client Payments and Wix Studio's payment requests bill clients at the vendor's own prices.
